On October 3, 2026, Wendler officially celebrated the opening of its new LEED® Gold-certified factory in Bangladesh, marking an important milestone in the company’s long-standing presence in one of the world’s leading garment manufacturing markets.
Bangladesh has been an important part of Wendler’s global network for many years. During this time, we have built strong relationships with customers and partners, developed local expertise and established a dedicated team supporting the needs of the garment industry.
The opening of the new factory is the next step in this journey. It brings together Wendler’s German heritage and technical know-how, our long-standing experience in Bangladesh and our commitment to responsible manufacturing.
With local production in Bangladesh, we are further strengthening our ability to support customers close to their manufacturing locations, with reliable supply, consistent quality and technical expertise.
A milestone made possible by our team
The opening would not have been possible without the commitment and hard work of our Wendler Interlining Bangladesh team. We are very proud of what the team has achieved and would like to thank everyone involved in bringing the new facility to life.
