What is the Higg Index?

Measuring Sustainability with the Higg Index

As demand for eco-friendly fashion grows, brands face the challenge of measuring the environmental impact of their products—often a complex and costly process. The Higg Index, developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, provides a standardized way to assess eco-impact across the supply chain, helping manufacturers identify opportunities to reduce their footprint and improve long-term sustainability.

Sustainability at Every Site

As a trusted partner of the apparel industry, we uphold the highest standards in quality and sustainability. Our facility in India has now completed the Higg FEM self-assessment, while our Vietnam site has been part of the program since 2022. Our goal is to ensure a consistently high level of sustainability across all our locations worldwide.

The Higg FEM reviews environmental performance in key areas such as energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water, waste, and chemicals—helping facilities identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The self-assessment is the first step, while Levels 1–3 reflect increasing depth of environmental practice, from meeting basic requirements to implementing leading best practices.

Each year, we will repeat the assessment and continue working toward higher levels to strengthen the well-being of our employees, local communities, and the environment.
